My name is Joe O'Connor. I'm the owner of Play It Again Sports Encinitas. I count it a real priveledge to be doing what I do.
Why? Because I love my job!
When I became the owner of Play It Again Sports Encinitas, back in 2005, I had no idea how much fun this would be. Oh sure, I knew that I was going to be doing something that I loved to do, helping people save money to get the sports equipment they want or need. I guess I just never knew how MUCH fun it would be!
We love being a part of this community. My family (my wife and 3 kids) and I live, work AND play in Encinitas. We wouldn't have it any other way.
My family is extremely important to me. Our kids are very active in local sports programs and more likely than not, you've probably seen us around at the park or on a baseball diamond, down at the YMCA skating or on a local soccer field. I grew up playing sports as a kid and I know how important it is for families to be involved in doing things together.
So, that's a little bit "about us". If you're anything like us, being a part of this community or raising happy, healthy, well rounded kids is probably important to you as well.

We offer exceptional value on new and used sporting goods while offering the customer service that you just can't get anywhere else. We encourage you to shop the other guys because we know you will come back to us.
Besides having the best prices in town on new sports equipment, we sell used equipment too - at a fraction of the price of new. That's our point of difference and that's what makes our store fun and exciting. You never know what you'll find in here on any given day.
